Award-winning artist Laurel Stern Boeck is known as one of the nation’s foremost Portrait Painters. From her earliest years, Boeck has been fascinated with the human subject and the art of portraiture. Educated at the prestigious Art Students League and receiving a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York, Boeck now boasts a client list that includes prominent leaders in the fields of business, government, and education. Her work can be seen in major capitols, banks, board rooms, universities, supreme courts, private homes, and Washington institutions.

Laurel was awarded the Merit Scholarship from the Art Students League and received an Honorable Mention in the nation’s largest portrait competition sponsored by Artist Magazine. She has also been featured in exhibitions such as the Knickerbocker Art Show, the Salmagundi Club Members Show, American Women Artists, Connection Women Artists, and the Northern Westchester Center of Arts.
